Born and raised on a farm in Kenya in 1949 with my parents, two brothers and sister. We moved to Australia in 1965 to complete my education both in the classroom and on the street. I served an Apprenticeship in BHP steelworks in Newcastle, NSW and also qualified as a Marine Engineer. Left Australia in 1971 and basically sailed the world in all kinds of vessels until settling in England in 1979, the year I was married to Susie. I still continued to work on ships and sail the oceans, something that was not very compatible with a married life. In 1990 I was separated from my family and in the Persian Gulf when I realised I was facing a crucial moment in my life. Do I remain independent and ‘at large’ or do I have the courage to go back and do what it takes to rebuild my family. I made the right choice and gave up my job and went home. Soon after returning home I attended a Psychology of Vision workshop and within a year I had become a workshop promoter and subsequently a trainer and facilitator in my own right. I have now been teaching since 1996. I still travel the world but now I do it to teach, to teach about relationships, about happiness and often Susie comes with me.
Interests:
My interest lie in the exploration of consciousness and I seem to do that best while walking, in nature. I also love sailing and being around the water and in Africa.
I have a few other web sites with Susie, including, www.visionworksforlife.com and www.microbz.co.uk
