A lover of organization and a natural born manager, I began my career as a hotel manager, then became a shipbroker, and later an international marketing manager for a large global corporation.
After over twenty years of long and stressful hours working in the City I found that I just was going through the motions. I wasn’t excited about my life any more, despite the outer signs of success.
Then came divorce. With a young son to bring up alone, it was a time for a change. A resident of London since birth, at age nearly 50 I moved to the countryside, and now live near Oxford. The move out of London signalled the start of a new cycle in my life. I built a house (maybe not with my own hands but very hands on), went back to college and studied for an MA in Conservation Studies and then started my own studio specialising in ceramic restoration & conservation.
When a friend introduced me to Psychology of Vision (PoV) my life really started to turn around in multiple and miraculous ways. With my new-found confidence I went on to win the highly sought Ceramic Conservation prize with my first project.
My personal experience with PoV was so powerful that I became a PoV Trainer and now give workshops and coach clients using the PoV model. I also use management, marketing and business planning skills to promote and support PoV work.
I am fuelled by the knowledge that however tough life can get, the tools of PoV can restore me to a sense of deep joy.
Life is once again sweet, full of friends, fun, love and laughter.
